On Wednesday, December 6, GENYOUth hosted its Second Annual Gala at the Intrepid, Sea, Air and Space Museum on the west side of Manhattan. We could not have asked for a cooler venue or a more incredible group of people to join us in celebrating the "Curious, Creative & Bold" students, educators and partners who work so hard to support the health of our nation's students and schools.
While we're still reeling from a wonderful evening, we'd like to share some photos that include former President, Bill Clinton keynoting, a passionate and warm speech from GENYOUth's second Vanguard Honoree, former USDA Secretary, Tom Vilsack, and the true stars of the event, our students, Charly, Kimberly, Destinee and Indy.
Our deepest gratitude for the sponsors that made this event possible, including: Berkshire Hathaway Energy, Land O'Lakes, PepsiCo, Fairlife, Microsoft, CoBank, UnitedHealthcare, Inmar, Toys R Us, NRF, Ameritrade, Domino's and Schreiber. We'd also like to thank everyone who purchased a table, raised a paddle and showed up for the event. Because of YOU, we will advance our mission to nurture healthy, high-achieving school communities.
There's so much work to do, but it's nice to take just a few moments to reflect on a special moment in time in GENYOUth's history.
