The 2017 Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Ambassador Summit is kicking off July 24 - 27 in Minneapolis, Minn. The annual gathering brings student leaders and educators from GENYOUth’s flagship program, Fuel Up to Play 60 together to connect with one another and participate in leadership activities and skill-building exercises. Health and wellness experts, corporate leaders, NFL players and many others will help students and educators learn sustainable skills that will help them improve the health and wellness environments of their schools.
In addition to training activities, those attending the Summit will have the opportunity to visit U.S. Bank Stadium and hear from speakers including representatives from the NFL, Minnesota Vikings, the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee, and more. Additionally, through the generous support from Land O’Lakes attendees will visit a local dairy farm, and answer plot and the company's test kitchen to truly get an understanding of how food goes from seed to plate.
This year’s Summit would also not be complete without a Fuel Up Innovation Challenge inspired by our AdVenture Capital program, which will encourage students to dream, design and pitch farm-to-table ideas in front of leaders from notable partners Ecolab, Land O’Lakes and Quaker.
This year with nearly 200 students attending, and through the commitment and support of our partners, we’re set for what is sure to be the best Summit to-date!
We're grateful to the many partners supporting the Summit and to their investment in building a healthy, high-achieving generation of youth. To learn how you can get involved in Fuel Up to Play 60 or support this year’s Summit, please contact GENYOUth at 212-225-8420.
