A recognized authority on youth wellness and public private partnerships, Ann Marie works closely with thought leaders in government, business, professional sports leagues, education, health and fitness to drive collective impact.

Having served as GENYOUth’s President and Chief Wellness Officer for over a decade, Ann Marie has played an integral role in the organization’s growth from a start-up to a leading non-profit generating measurable results nationwide. She was instrumental in the development and expansion of GENYOUth’s flagship program, Fuel Up to Play 60, the largest in-school nutrition and physical activity program launched by the National Dairy Council and the National Football League which today reaches over 38 million students in over 73,000 schools. Recognizing the connection between food security and school meals, Ann Marie mobilized a critical pandemic campaign to End Student Hunger that has raised $15 million to support the delivery of hundreds of millions of school meals to children in high-need communities. And under Ann Marie’s leadership, GENYOUth continues its urgent work to ensure the 30 million U.S. students who rely on school meals for a significant portion of their daily nutrition have access to school meals by driving access and participation through grab and go meal carts, smoothie programs, cafeteria transformations and other innovative initiatives.

As a registered dietitian, Ann Marie has a high regard for science, agriculture, food, fitness and their connection to health and wellness that complements her commitment to American’s youth. She has been a featured speaker at top conferences including the 2022 White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition and Health, and New York Advertising Week.

Ann Marie regularly gives back to her profession by serving on the boards of state and regional dietetic associations, and her honors include the prestigious Anita Owen Award for Innovation in Nutrition Education from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is also frequently featured in national/local news interviews and opinion pieces for her expertise in youth health and wellness.

A mother of two sons, Ann Marie believes that every child, in every school, has the right to be nourished, active and supported.
