Super School Breakfast Campaign and 52 Weeks of Giving Kicks off in Minnesota

Breakfast is often called the most important meal of the day, yet in Minnesota, 140,000 students don’t participate in school breakfast programs, putting them at a disadvantage to learn and reach fuel greatness.  In fact, Minnesota ranks 44th out of 50 states in offering school breakfast, but the Minnesota Legacy Fund is hoping to support students and schools by providing grants to a new school every week for 52 weeks leading up to Super Bowl LII in Minnesota on February 4, 2018.   read MORE


Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee brings ‘Super School Breakfast’ to 52 Minnesota communities

In conjunction with this year’s Vikings’ Hometown Grant announcement from Midwest Dairy Council at Bethune Elementary School in Minneapolis, the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee (MNSBHC) Legacy Fund announced that it will provide Fuel Up to Play 60 Breakfast-in-the-Classroom grants – a Super School Breakfast – to 52 communities across the state over the 52 weeks leading up to Super Bowl LII. 


Social Innovation Series - Phoenix

On November 10th, we held the sixth and final SAP Social Innovation Series event in Phoenix at The Clayton on the Park with our partner, SAP and the tremendous team from Arizona Dairy. The event included 56 intrepid students representing 13 schools.

SAP Social Innovation Series – Atlanta

Sixty amazing student entrepreneurs from 13 Atlanta area schools came together on November 3rd to develop and pitch their original ideas to solve health and wellness challenges in their schools. The fifth of six SAP Social Innovation Series events of 2016 was hosted at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History in Atlanta.
